Acer Aspire P3 Review

Acer Aspire P3 is a new Windows-tablet from the notorious producer. On board, our tablet is Intel Core i5 3rd generation. As far as it is relevant now, when the end of the year, Windows-tablets producers likely to move to Intel’s new generation Haswell?

Externally P3 is similar to its predecessor – the Acer Iconia W700. It looks a little awkward, but in spite of this, Acer Aspire P3 has a pretty stylish aluminum body, which makes the device expensive appearance. In this case, the materials from which the plate is assembled, quite pleasant to the touch. At the very least, they are much better quality than most budget tablets.

Included with the Acer Aspire P3 is Bluetooth-keyboard, which, in turn, is connected with the cover. A little old and not the most convenient solution, but, at least, the keyboard does not have to pay extra. In addition to the tablet control buttons on its edges are also located port USB 3.0, microHDMI audio jack and 3.5 mm headphone jack and a microphone.

Input Devices

As we have said, bundled with the tablet itself and is Bluetooth-keyboard. The parameters printing it is no different from many removable keyboards and has the typical advantages and disadvantages of such devices. On the downside, there is the absence of the touchpad, small size and lack of substantial depth control, an advantage – mobility and ease of transport.

In addition to a detachable keyboard, our plate is, of course, has both a touchscreen. Touchscreen copes with his work: it provides a fairly high accuracy input, has good sensitivity, comfortable to hold and knows all the latest multi-touch gestures that are required to run on Windows 8.

Acer Aspire P3′s 11.6ti-inch screen has a too high rate of resolution of 1366 X 768 pixels. However, our screen device provides a better image than the average matrix of the cheaper devices. Yet it is not Full HD-resolution. The colors and contrast are quite good, especially well seen when watching movies on this tablet. Due to the relatively high rate of brightness sunlight are not afraid of that device.

On board, Acer Aspire P3 processor is Intel Core i5-3339Y with a clock frequency of 1.5 GHz. This solution is not the most powerful, but for everyday tasks like web surfing, word processing, and start the video that will be enough. In addition, Acer Aspire P3 has a solid-state drive capacity of 128 GB, integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics and 4GB of RAM.

The Acer Aspire P3 is well suited for tasks of varying complexity in constant motion. However, a new generation of more powerful processors tablets from Intel soon will begin to appear on the market, however, likely they will cost a bit more expensive. If you do not want to wait, and the price of the device is very important to you, then a device such as Acer Aspire P3, may just be your choice.
